ASTM B335 / ASTM B564 UNS N10665 Alloy HB2 Hastelloy forged round bar with black bright machined finish, heat treated for optimal performance in corrosive environments.
Material Properties
Hastelloy B2 is a solid solution strengthened nickel-molybdenum alloy offering exceptional resistance to reducing environments including hydrogen chloride gas, sulfuric acid, acetic acid, and phosphoric acids. The alloy maintains excellent performance in the as-welded condition due to its resistance to grain-boundary carbide precipitation.
