Superior Corrosion Performance
904L is a low-carbon, high-alloy austenitic stainless steel specifically designed for harsh corrosive environments. It offers superior corrosion resistance compared to 316L and 317L grades while maintaining excellent cost-effectiveness.
The addition of 1.5% copper provides exceptional resistance to reducing acids including sulfuric and phosphoric acids. The high nickel content (25%) significantly reduces corrosion rates in pits and crevices.
