Material Properties
Monel K500 achieves its enhanced mechanical properties through the addition of aluminum and titanium to the nickel-copper base, followed by thermal processing for precipitation hardening. The alloy offers approximately three times the yield strength and double the tensile strength compared to Monel 400.
