The main component of 904L stainless steel rod bar is 20Cr-24Ni-4.3Mo-1.5Cu. It is a highly alloyed austenitic stainless steel with very low carbon content. 904L stainless steel rod bar has good resistance to pitting corrosion and crevice corrosion, high resistance to stress corrosion cracking, good resistance to intergranular corrosion, good processability and weldability. Mostly used to manufacture pressure vessels.
