What is the difference between 304 and 904L?
The main component of the 904L stainless steel pipe tube is 20Cr-24Ni-4.3Mo-1.5Cu. It is a highly alloyed austenitic stainless steel with very low carbon content. 904L stainless steel pipe tube has good resistance to pitting corrosion and crevice corrosion, high resistance to stress corrosion cracking, good resistance to intergranular corrosion, and good processability and weldability.
