Composition of ultrasonic cutting hemostasis knife system
The system is mainly composed of five parts:generator (K500), handle (QUHP35), cutter head (QHS14S, QHS23S and QHS36S), foot switch (QFS - 02 optional) and transducer (C100 optional).
The Generator-K500 Ultrasonic Scalpel System is indicated for hemostatic cutting and/or coagulation of soft tissue incisions when bleeding control and minimal thermal injury are desired. The ultrasonic scalpel system can be used as an adjunct to or substitute for electrosurgery, lasers, and steel scalpels. The system utilizes ultrasonic energy.
Handle
There is an electroacoustic transducer in the handle, which can convert the electrical energy provided by the generator into precise mechanical motion(ultrasonic vibration). The transducer is connected to the ultrasonic horn;The horn amplifies the motion generated by the transducer. The handle receives the electric energy from the generator and transfers it to the cutter head through accurate and controllable mechanical movement. System handle model: QUHP35
Shear
Cutter head Mechanical motion is transferred from the handle to the tip, while ultrasound energy is transferred to hemostasis or coagulation and cutting of tissue. The tip is a sterile single-use medical device that is disposed of after use and cannot be sterilized for reuse (human market). The tips are sterilized by ethylene oxide or cobalt-60 irradiation at the time of delivery; the irradiation sterilization is valid for four years, beyond the expiration date or if the sterilization package is damaged, the tips should be stopped immediately and scrapped or destroyed. The system can be equipped with QUHS14S, QUHS23S and QUHS36S. Operating frequency of the cutter head: 55.5 k Hz ±1 k Hz.TRW-UK Series tool head with manual button, connected with the main machine, transducer, rotary knob and torque wrench integrated.
