Cutter head Mechanical motion is transferred from the handle to the tip, while ultrasound energy is transferred to hemostasis or coagulation and cutting of tissue. The tip is a sterile single-use medical device that is disposed of after use and cannot be sterilized for reuse (human market). The tips are sterilized by ethylene oxide or cobalt-60 irradiation at the time of delivery; the irradiation sterilization is valid for four years, beyond the expiration date or if the sterilization package is damaged, the tips should be stopped immediately and scrapped or destroyed. The system can be equipped with QUHS14S, QUHS23S and QUHS36S. Operating frequency of the cutter head: 55.5 k Hz ±1 k Hz.
