Ⅰ. Introduction
Customized luffing cylinders can be either single-acting or double-acting. The double-acting piston oil cylinder is the most common type. A single -acting plunger luffing jib has a single oil port and a double-stage telescopic luffing cylinder. A luffing jib, when lifted manually, can be lowered faster. This enables the operator to reeve the jib head quickly.
