Cold Drawing Machine Inclination Angle Of Forging Head Surface And Transition Part
Ⅰ. Feature
In production, it is required that the transition part of the forging head should be smooth, except for the absence of ears, protrusions, and edges on the surface. The inclination angle of the transition section should be similar to the inlet cone angle of the drawing die, which is 10 °~1, and the maximum should not exceed 20 °. The transition angle for alloy steel and special-shaped steel should be smaller, generally between 5 ° and 12 °. The shape of the transition section of the forging head depends on the correct design of the forging head tool shape, that is, considering the corresponding transition angle on the shape of the forging die or the periodic pass of the rolling mill roll.
