Description
The fibers reside in a high modulus plastic loose tube filled with a water-resistant compound. This tube is env-
eloped by corrugated steel tape, with water-blocking material applied between the steel tape and the loose tube
to maintain compactness and water resistance. Two parallel steel wires flank the sides of the steel tape. Finally,
the cable is encased in a polyethylene (PE) sheath for completion.
