Description

The fibers are encased in a high modulus plastic loose tube filled with a water-resistant compound. This

tube is further protected by corrugated steel tape, with water-blocking material ensuring a tight, waterproof

seal between the steel tape and the loose tube. Alongside the steel tape, two parallel steel wires run for

additional reinforcement. To complete the assembly, the cable is encased in a polyethylene (PE) sheath for

overall protection.
