Description

The cable design comprises:

  * High modulus plastic loose tube housing the fibers, filled with water-resistant compound.

  * Corrugated steel tape wrapped around the tube, augmented by water-blocking material for cable com-

     pactness and waterproofing.

  * Parallel steel wires flanking the steel tape to reinforce the structure.

  * Finished with a protective polyethylene (PE) sheath.

installations.
