Description
Bunches of fibers sit inside a flexible tube made of sturdy plastic. These tubes are filled with a substance
that repels water. Inside the core, there's a strong non-metallic piece called Fiber Reinforced Plastic (FRP).
The tubes and fillers are twisted around this central strength piece to form a tight, round core. To keep water
out, the core is covered in water-resistant tape, and finally, the whole cable is coated in a PE sheath for
protection.
