Description

The optical fibers are arranged within a loose tube constructed from high modulus plastic, which is then

filled with a water-resistant compound. The tube is enveloped by a layer of corrugated steel tape, and

water-blocking material is inserted between the corrugated steel tape and the loose tube to maintain a

compact and watertight cable structure. Parallel steel wires are positioned on both sides of the steel tape

for additional strength. The cable is finalized with a polyethylene (PE) sheath, providing overall protection

and insulation.
