2. Principle of proximity switch
The inductive proximity sensor essentially consists of an oscillator, the coil forms the detection surface, and the alternating magnetic field is generated around the coil. When a metal object is in the magnetic field generated by the sensor, the induced current forms an additional magnetic field that prevents the coil from alternating and the oscillation stops. This causes the output driver to act, according to the sensor type, to generate induction.
