Description:
An austenitic stainless steel bearing molybdenum, Type 316, is available as ATI 316Ti stainless. It is also referred to by the DIN/EN designation 1.4571.
316Ti Stainless Steel Pipe is a titanium stabilised version of 316 molybdenum-bearing austenitic stainless steel. The 316 alloys are more resistant to general corrosion and pitting/crevice corrosion than the conventional chromium-nickel austenitic stainless steels such as 304. They also offer higher creep, stress-rupture and tensile strength at elevated temperature.
316Ti is comparable to Grade 316L, but 316Ti has greater mechanical and high temperature strength. Equipment subjected to harsh corrosive conditions and high temperature applications use it.
