ASTM A312 TP317L Pickled and Annealed Pipe Stainless Steel Welded Pipe
TP317L offers excellent corrosion resistance in a wide range of corrosive environments, including acidic and chloride-rich conditions. This makes it suitable for applications where corrosion resistance is critical. TP317L is also a readily weldable material. Welding processes such as TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) welding, MIG (Metal Inert Gas) welding, and submerged arc welding can be used to join TP317L pipes.
Stainless steel grade 317L is a low carbon version of grade 317 stainless steel. It has the same high strength and corrosion resistance as 317 steel but can produce stronger welds due to the low carbon content.
