2.Steel rod feeding: Generally hanged to the material rack by crane, feeding the steel rod into rollgang by automatic upender
3Heating: Induction furnace, PLC full automatic control.
4Hot cutting
5.Hot forging
6.Rolling : Adopting two roller rolling, rolling the steel ball into 100%round steel ball.The main motor of rolling mill adopts frequency control. Satisfy the capacity of different steel ball size. Matched with the capacity of induction furnace.
7.Slow cooling and temperature uniformity device:This device is used for cooling the high temperature steel ball into quenching temperature,This device motor is adopted frequency control. and make the temperature homogenization. The device is chain type.
8.Quenching: Steel balls are quenching in rotating tube device, Its motor is frequency control, Adjust the temperature of steel ball out of water.
9.Tempering:Automatic continuous tempering furnace,tempering 6-8hours
10.Ball cooling:Wait for the temperature drop to normal.
Forged Steel balls
(1)Smooth surface:
A smooth surface is a characteristic produced by forging technology, with no defects in the surface of the ball, nor deformation or out of roundness. This amplifies the grinding effect of the balls on the ore for an optimum performance.
(2)Internal tightness:
Since these balls are forged from round bar steel, internal and external deviations, are non-existent. Forged balls have a high internal density and high fine particle degree, which enhances the drop resistance and the impact toughness of these balls, thus vastly reducing the breakage rate of a forged balls.
(3)Suitable for wet grinding:
Our forged balls are comprised of high-quality alloy steel, together with new efficient anti-wear materials, independently developed by our company. By matching the alloying element with rare elements, and by controlling the chromium content, the corrosion resistance of the balls is greatly improved; during wet grinding procedures, trivalent chromium oxide, forms a protective oxide film of chromium and iron which hinders the breakage of the ball and/or eases the reincorporation of the detached particles to the film itself. As mines commonly use a wet grinding process, this forged ball becomes even more suitable.
(4)In SAG Mill operations:
Large balls with a diameter of 125-150mm not only reduces unit consumption, but also increases handling capacity.
