The press-lock steel grid is constructed with two close-tolerance slotted bars bonded together by tremendous hydraulic pressure. This production method creates a permanent locking mechanism. With high strength and firm structure, it's widely used in industrial factories or parks, commercial buildings, and municipal engineering as stair treads, platforms, walkways, security screens, tree covers, trench covers, and drainage covers.
Only the bearing bars are notched, while the cross bars are common plain steel with different heights.
Welded metal grating is joined at the intersection of the bearing bars and cross bars. Welded bar grating is a versatile option for light to moderate loads.
