Installation Guidelines
Important Notes
- All wiring must comply with applicable local codes, ordinances, and regulations
- Verify all detector bases are properly installed and initiating-device circuits tested
- Remove power from initiating-device circuits before installing detectors
Installation Steps
- Wire the sensor base according to the wiring diagram (Figure 1)
- Install the sensor into the sensor base by pushing while turning clockwise
- Apply power to the control unit after all sensors are installed
- Test sensors as described in the testing section
- Notify proper authorities that the system is operational
Warning: Do not connect 24VDC directly without current-limiting resistance. Direct connection may cause detector damage.
