1. Brief Introduction
Filter press is a common solid-liquid separation equipment, using special filtering medium to press on the object and dialyze out the liquid. In the beginning of 18th century, the filter press has been applied in chemical industry, till now, it is applied in chemical industry, pharmacy, metallurgy, dyestuff, food, brewing industry, ceramic and environmental protection industries.

3. Consist Structure

Frame |
Frame is the basic component of filter press. Thrust plate and compass plate is on the two side of filter press, connected by side beams. Main beam supports the filter plate, filter frame and press plate. |

Thrust plate |
Thrust plate connects filter press and foundation. The feeding hole of chamber type filter press is in the middle of thrust plate, other four holes are on four corners. The upper two holes are inlet of cleaning solution and compressed air; the lower holes are outlet. |

Compass plate |
Compass plate uses to press the filter plate and filter frame tightly, the rollers on two side to compass plate can slide on the rail of main beam. |
