The Vacuum belt filter adopts fixed vacuum box, the endless rubber belt is driven and moves on the vacuum box by gearbox continuously. The filter cloth lays on the belt and moves with belt synchronously. A water sealing structure is formed between wear belt and rubber belt. The slurry feeds through the hopper and distributed on the cloth evenly. When vacuum goes through the vacuum box, a vacuum absorbing and filtration section are formed on the belt. The filtrate enters into the vacuum box through the cloth, holes and grooves on the belt. Solid particles remains on the cloth and cake formed. The filtrate in the vacuum box drainages by liquid tank. The cake moves into washing and dewatering section then discharged. After cake discharging, washing the cloth and adjusted then back to filtration section for recycling.
A vacuum belt filter using three belts can achieve independent speeds and have different belt types for the pressure and gravity zones. This allows the filter system to accommodate higher hydraulic loadings occurring with dilute feed sludge (feed solid concentration below 1.5%). The three belt system is more efficient with both a higher production rate and cake solid concentration at the expense of mechanical complexity.
These filters are a subcategory of horizontal vacuum filters, with which they share great flexibility and a high filtration rate.The main feature of the belt filter system is the additional presence of the filtration cloth and a special reinforced rubber belt with draining grooves.
Features:

The filter belt does have a high durability and performs consistently. In place of traditional carbon steel bearings, high-strength stainless steel bearings have been employed. The equipment’s corrosion resistance has substantially enhanced, and its service life can now surpass ten years.
- The functioning of the belt filter press is also not as difficult as other filter presses due to its basic structure and acceptable design; even regular workers can run it.
- Unlike other filter presses, the belt filter press doesn’t really run on a continuous basis. The belt filter press can run for up to 24 hours on a single charge.
