Cartridge valve principle

Cartridge valve is a kind of fluid control equipment, its core working principle is to realize the control of fluid through the interaction between the cartridge valve core and the seat. The following is about the cartridge valve principle
 

Basic structure

The cartridge valve is mainly composed of a valve body, a seat and a cartridge spool. A flow channel is formed between the valve body and the seat, and the cartridge spool moves through this channel to achieve on-off control of the fluid.

the working principle

1. Opening process: When external pressure is applied to the cartridge spool, the spool will overcome the resistance of the spring or other holding device and lift from the seat, allowing the fluid to flow.

2. Closing process: When external pressure is removed or reverse pressure is applied, the cartridge spool will return to its original position due to the action of the spring or other mechanism, closing the fluid channel and preventing the fluid flow.

3. Adjustment function: Some cartridge valves are designed with an adjustment mechanism, which can control the opening degree of the spool by adjusting the external pressure or other parameters, so as to adjust the flow rate or pressure of the fluid.
