Solenoid valve is a kind of industrial equipment controlled by electromagnetic, mainly used to control the basic components of fluid automation, belongs to the actuator, not limited to hydraulic, pneumatic. Its working principle is based on the action of electromagnetic force, by controlling the current of the electromagnet to control the mechanical movement.

Basic structure of solenoid valve
Solenoid valves usually contain the following basic components:
1. Closed chamber: through holes are opened in different positions, and each hole is connected to a different oil pipe or gas pipe.
2. Piston: located in the middle of the chamber, two electromagnets are on both sides.
3. Oil inlet hole (or intake hole) : usually open, hydraulic oil (or gas) can enter different discharge pipes (or exhaust pipes).

Working principle
When the solenoid coil of the solenoid valve is energized, it will generate an electromagnetic force, which will attract the valve body to move to the side of the energized electromagnet. Different oil discharge holes (or vents) can be opened or closed by controlling the movement of the valve body. Hydraulic oil (or gas) enters through the oil inlet hole (or air inlet), and then pushes the piston of the cylinder (or cylinder) through the pressure of the oil (or gas), which drives the piston rod, and the piston rod drives the mechanical device, so as to achieve the control of the mechanical movement.
