Cartridge valve overview

Cartridge valve is a new type of hydraulic control element, which is characterized by small volume, small power loss, fast action, easy integration, and can control the performance of large flow system. The cartridge valve is mainly composed of four parts: insert element, pilot element, control cover plate and cartridge block. The insert element is the main stage or power element of the cartridge valve, which controls the flow on and off or the pressure level and the flow rate through its opening and closing action and the size of the opening amount to achieve the control of the direction, pressure and speed of the hydraulic actuator. Pilot control valves are usually ordinary direction valves or pressure valves or flow valves, which control the opening and closing of the cartridge valve through the control cover plate .

Cartridge valve definition and working principle

Cartridge valve is a hydraulic control element, its flow rate can reach 1000L/min, the diameter can reach 200 ~ 250mm. The basic components of cartridge valves include spool, sleeve, spring and sealing ring. The spool has simple structure, sensitive action and good sealing.
