The inner layer is used to equalize the internal electric field and the outer shield layer is used to protect the cable head from zero potential. The inner layer of the lower end of the stress cone is in close contact with the semiconductor layer of the cable, while the outer semiconductor layer is in close contact with the outer semiconductor layer of the cable head and is grounded through the earthing hole of the cable head. This not only solves the problem of electric field concentration in the cut off of the outer shield layer of the cable, but also keeps zero potential in the outer shield layer of the cable to ensure personal safety.
The front connector of the touchable cable is directly installed on the casing of the equipment, and then it can be connected with the rear connector of the touchable cable to form a multiway outlet line or to connect with the arrester to provide overvoltage protection for the power network.
