MPO (Multi-fiber Push On) patch cord is a high-density multi-fiber optical jumper. MPO is a type of multi-fiber optical connector designed for high-speed, large-capacity optical interconnection systems. A single MPO connector can accommodate 4, 8, 12, 16, 24, 32, 48 or 72 optical fibers, greatly improving cabling density compared with single-fiber connectors such as LC and SC.
