Use Of Carrier Tape:

Carrier belts are mainly used in the electronic component installation industry. It is used with a cover tape (upper tape) to carry electrical components such as resistors, capacitors, transistors, diodes, etc. in the carrier belt, and to protect the electronic components from contamination and damage during transport by sealing the cover tape on the carrier belt to form a closed package. When placing electronic components, the cover tape is stripped off, the automatic placement device is precisely positioned through the tape index hole, the components contained in the pocket are removed in turn, and they are mounted on the integrated circuit board (PCB board).
