Composite Internal Release Agent For Epoxy Resin Pultrusion Water Based
LubeKote 9161 is a very efficient internal release agent with lubricant properties, formulated for polyester-epoxy, phenolic, and acrylic resins.
LubeKote 9161 is free of silicones. Due to its chemical consistency, it allows for post-treatment after release such as painting or foaming on top of the created surface without any additional treatment such as sanding. LubeKote 9161 will achieve a more water-resistant surface of the produced parts.

LubeKote 9161 is a ready-to-use formulation and is added directly to the polyester-, epoxy- or acrylic resin. To achieve good results, careful admixing is imperative. The exact dosage level of LubeKote 9161 depends on the existing processing conditions and has to be evaluated by the customer. Normally the dosage (based on resin solids) varies between 0.5 and 1.5 wt-%.
LubeKote 9161 is especially suitable for the pultrusion process.
For industrial use only. The usual care when handling chemicals must be observed. Keep container tightly sealed and store at room temperature. Prolonged skin contact with high concentrate dilutions should be avoided. Accidental splashes in the eye should be washed out with copious amounts of water.
