What is Wright-Giemsa stain (For Animals and Pets)?

For staining of blood cells and bone marrow cells.

Sample requirement:

1. Blood cell smear staining: fresh whole blood or EDTA (2K) anticoagulant is required.

2. Bone marrow smear staining: after the smear, it should be quickly shaken or fanned in the air to prevent cell shrinkage and deformation or hemolysis due to air humidity, and can not be dried with high temperature or flame.

Interpretaion of the test result:

Red blood cells are pink, the particles in the leukocyte plasma are clear, and show a variety of cell unique colors, the nucleus is purple red, and the nuclear chromatin structure is clear.
