What makes the EL 1 / BL series different from traditional dental motors?
The EL 1 belongs to Sirona’s brushless (electronically commutated) motor generation. Unlike older brushed motors, it has no carbon brushes to wear down or create dust. This results in a significantly longer lifespan, quieter operation, lighter weight, and consistent torque even at very low speeds.
