The Olympus MH-264 SD Handle is a reusable electrosurgical handle designed for use in endoscopic procedures, primarily with polypectomy snares and hot biopsy forceps.The MH-264 SD Handle allows clinicians to manipulate the snare wire or biopsy forceps and apply electrosurgical energy to remove polyps or obtain tissue samples. It's often used with an outer plastic sheath that combines with the snare wire to form a complete snare.

• It allows for precise control and manipulation of the snare wire to encircle and grasp polyps or other lesions for removal. The ergonomic design aims for sensitive handling to improve snaring results.
• It enables the opening and closing of biopsy forceps to obtain tissue samples, often with the application of electrosurgical energy for hemostasis or lesion ablation.
