Description
Chiguard® 101 is a liquid HALS based on an alkoxyamine structure with low alkalinity and extremely high efficiency.
Chiguard® 101 has good acid resistance, so it can directly enter the light stabilization cycle of HALS to provide excellent UV/heat/chemical resistance, as well as good light transmittance and durability.
In addition, its low alkalinity also makes Chiguard® 101 very suitable for acid-catalyzed systems and coatings using acidic pigments.
Application
Chiguard® 101 is very effective in thermosetting applications such as traditional acid-catalyzed automotive coatings, automotive refinishing paints, etc. due to its low alkalinity.
Chiguard® 101 is also widely used to improve the weathering resistance of various polymers, especially for harsh applications that are exposed to corrosive media (such as acids, flame retardants, sulfur, catalyst residues), which are most suitable for adding Chiguard® 101.
In addition, due to its liquid properties, Chiguard® 101 is extremely convenient to handle and the accuracy of material feeding can be greatly improved.
