Description
1173 is a highly efficient, non-yellowing UV initiator. It has low odor, non-yellowing, and good color stability for unsaturated polyester systems and multifunctional monomer UV curing systems. It is especially recommended for use in UV-curing coatings that need to withstand long-term sunlight and resist yellowing. Since 1173 is a liquid, it is very easy to blend, so it is suitable for use in combination with other photoinitiators, such as acrylic light-curing varnish systems for wood, paper, plastics, etc. The recommended addition level is 1-4% w/w.
