The firewood trommel screen will efficiently remove all fines (dirt, gravel, wood chips & splinters) through the fine screen and most of the kindling and smaller pieces of wood through the coarse screen. The firewood trommel screen is designed as an add on to a bulk processing system. Cleaning the wood in the last step before packaging for bulk retail sale. For wood yards this means the wood is cleaner, more saleable and results in more accurate weight measurement. With a constantly loaded feeding hopper, the capacity of this machine is estimated in excess of 60m3 per hour. Structure and Principle
Firewood trommel screen is composed of feeding hopper, screen drum, chassis, wheel, transmission device, and control cabinet(optional parts: diesel engine generator and belt conveyor). The sawdust rotary screen material enters the drum, on the one hand, the material is screened with the rotation of the drum screen, on the other hand, the larger material flows forward along the inclined direction, the sawdust is screened, and the screened material passes through the drum the tail of the sieve is discharged.
