48 Core OPGW Cable is a dual-functioning cable that serves as both a ground wire and provides a path for transmitting voice, video, or data signals. The fibers are protected from environmental conditions (lightning, short circuit, loading) to ensure reliability and longevity.
Designed for installation on transmission and distribution lines, this cable carries communications for lighting waveform monitoring systems, overhead test line observation systems, maintenance data information systems, power line protection systems, power line operation systems, and unmanned substation monitoring.
The PBT Loose Tube is extruded with an Aluminum Tube, surrounded by an outer layer of Aluminum Clad Steel Wire or Aluminum Alloy Wire. Fibers in different tubes are color-coded for identification, with capacity up to 96 cores.
