Product Overview
ASU fiber optic cable, also known as mini ADSS fiber optic cable, is an aerial self-supporting dielectric cable that contains one or two max loose tubes filled with up to 12 optical fibers (maximum 24 optical fibers total). The fibers are protected from moisture by jelly and hydro-expandable material inside the loose tube.
This all-dielectric cable features FRP strength members as traction elements, providing pull strength while preventing electrical discharges between connections. Easier and lighter to handle and install compared to other outdoor cables, it eliminates the need for strings or grounding. Widely used in FTTH (Fiber to the Home) networking applications.
