The GYTS optical fiber cable features 250µm fibers positioned in loose tubes made of high modulus material, filled with waterproof compound. The cable core centers around a metallic steel wire strength member, with polyethylene (PE) extruded around it for multi-core cables. Tubes are stranded around the strength member to form a compact, circular core, protected by corrugated steel tape and PE sheath.
