The GYTC8S is a high-quality standalone fiber optic cable designed for outdoor aerial installations. Its robust construction features excellent moisture resistance and crush resistance, making it suitable for both duct and underground deployment. The cable's structural integrity comes from a metallic strength member of helically wound wires, protected by a polyethylene sheath in an octagonal configuration.
Enhanced with corrugated steel tape and an external polyethylene layer, the cable offers superior crush and bullet resistance. A central steel-wire member increases tensile strength, while the loose tube and water-blocking system provide additional protection.
