The GYTC8S is a standard outdoor fiber optic cable designed for aerial use with excellent moisture and crush resistance, making it suitable for duct and buried installations. Its structure features:
- Figure-eight metallic strength member made of stranded wires
- Polyethylene covering for durability
- Corrugated steel tape armor for crush and bullet resistance
- Central steel-wire strength member for enhanced tensile strength
- Loose tube and water-blocking system for additional protection
