Product Description
The self-supporting aerial cable is designed for aerial self-supporting applications at short, medium, and long span distances. ADSS cable offers a rapid and economical solution for deployment by cable television operators, telephone companies, and power utilities.
Designed for high voltage, middle, and small span conditions in Power Transmission Systems or challenging terrain such as river crossings and mountainous areas. The ADSS cable is a dielectric, self-supported cable ideal for long-distance communications and LAN applications.
Featuring aramid wire between two polyethylene sheaths, the cable has excellent anti-thunderstorm properties as its structure contains no metal components, making it perfectly adapted to harsh weather conditions.
Application
ADSS cable design considers the actual status of overhead power lines. For power lines under 110 kV, PE outer sheath is applied. For power lines equal to or over 110kV, AT outer sheath is applied.
