ADSS cable features a loose tube stranded design with 250μm fibers positioned into high modulus plastic tubes filled with water-resistant compound. The tubes are stranded around a non-metallic FRP (Fiber Reinforced Plastic) central strength member, forming a compact circular cable core.
After filling the core, it's covered with a thin PE inner sheath, reinforced with aramid yarn strength members, and completed with either PE or AT (anti-tracking) outer sheath.
