As a self-supporting aerial fiber cable, figure 8 fiber optic cable is designed for long-distance communication and inter-office communication. With steel stranded wire as the self-supporting component, it provides high tensile strength during installation and operation.
The figure 8 shape and steel wire messenger reduce installation costs. This compact cable offers lightweight, flexible construction and is suitable for FTTH cabling networks.
The GYTC8S is a standard self-supporting fiber optic cable, ideal for outdoor aerial use. Its moisture and crush resistance make it suitable for duct and burial applications. The cable features corrugated steel tape armor and polyethylene outer sheath for protection, with a central steel-wire strength member and water-blocking system.
The cable construction includes a stranded loose tube for fiber protection, central steel wire reinforcement, core filler compound for shape consistency, structural fillers, and corrosion-resistant steel wire coating.
