The self supporting aerial cables feature loose tube stranded construction with 250μm fibers positioned into high modulus plastic tubes filled with water-resistant compound. The tubes are stranded around an FRP central strength member, forming a compact cable core covered with PE inner sheath and aramid yarn strength member, completed with PE or AT outer sheath.
All-dialectric self-supporting (ADSS) cables feature an FRP dielectric central strength member with multiple loose tube optical fibres. The UV-stabilized external jacket resists moisture ingress, with operating temperatures from -40°C to +70°C, suitable for installation to 11kV power lines.
