1. Introduction

Most dust collector bag cages consist of 10, 12 or 20 vertical wires. The number of vertical wires depends on the purpose of the application and the material of the dust bag. Bag cages with 20 vertical wires are usually used to support dust filter bags that require strong support, such as fiberglass filter bags. As for cages with 10 or 12 vertical wires, they are more suitable for lighter weight bags. The vertical wire is to enhance the overall stability and support strength of the dust collector bag cage/skeleton. It is evenly welded around the bracing rings. The spacing between two support rings is usually 150-200 mm.

2. Common model specifications

(1) Circular skeleton
Circular skeletons are one of the most common types and are suitable for most external round filter bags. They are usually 114 mm to 200 mm in diameter and 2 m to 9 m in length. Common sizes are 120 mm to 160 mm in diameter and 2 m to 6 m in length.
(2) Flat skeleton
Flat skeleton is mostly external filter type, specifications are mostly 1000 mm to 2000 mm, and the larger ones can be up to 2000 mm × 2000 mm. This kind of skeleton is suitable for the occasions of space limitation or the need of large-area filtration.
(3) Oval skeleton
The elliptical skeleton is suitable for some specific dust collector designs. Its shape is between round and flat, and can be customized according to the actual needs of the size.
(4) Envelope Bones
Envelope shaped bobbins are designed to resemble the shape of an envelope and are used in specific dust collector configurations to accommodate different installation requirements.
(5) Trapezoidal skeleton
The trapezoidal skeleton has a trapezoidal cross-section and is used in some dust collectors that require special support structures.
(6) Star skeleton
The design of the star skeleton is characterized by the distribution of multiple support points on the central axis, which can provide better support effect and is suitable for applications requiring high support strength.
