Working Principle
- UV Photolysis: High-energy ultraviolet lamps (185nm and 254nm wavelengths) break chemical bonds in gas molecules, decomposing large pollutants into smaller compounds like CO₂ and H₂O.
- Ozone Oxidation: UV light converts oxygen (O₂) into ozone (O₃), a powerful oxidant that further neutralizes harmful substances.
- Catalytic Oxidation: Titanium dioxide (TiO₂) catalyst coatings generate active free radicals under UV excitation, accelerating pollutant degradation.
- Standard Discharge: Processed gases meet environmental standards as harmless byproducts.
