UV photocatalytic equipment is an efficient waste gas treatment device that combines UV photolysis technology with catalytic oxidation technology to decompose harmful substances in industrial waste gases. It is particularly effective for removing odors, volatile organic compounds (VOCs), and toxic gases including benzene, xylene, hydrogen sulfide, and ammonia.
Working Principle
- UV Photolysis: High-energy ultraviolet lamps (185nm and 254nm wavelengths) break chemical bonds in gas molecules, decomposing large pollutants into smaller compounds like CO₂ and H₂O.
- Ozone Oxidation: UV light converts oxygen (O₂) into ozone (O₃), a powerful oxidant that neutralizes harmful substances.
- Catalytic Oxidation: Titanium dioxide (TiO₂) catalyst coating forms active free radicals under UV excitation, accelerating hazardous substance degradation.
- Standard Discharge: Treated exhaust converts to harmless substances meeting environmental emission standards.
