The tail end of the sintering machine is the core workstation with the highest dust concentration and the largest air volume in the steel plant. The pulse bag filter is the preferred dust removal equipment for this scenario. Its core principle is "filtration and dust capture + pulse cleaning + ash hopper unloading", and it operates under negative pressure throughout the process. The dust removal efficiency is ≥99.99%, meeting the ultra-low emission requirements of ≤10mg/m³ in steel plants. It is suitable for the high-temperature (80-180℃), high-humidity and high-concentration dust working conditions at the tail end of the sintering machine.
Core Processes and Exclusive Design Features
- Negative Pressure Dust Collection: High-concentration dust-laden flue gas (up to 1000-3000mg/m³) is forced into the intake chamber through closed hood and gas collection pipeline under negative pressure suction.
- Exclusive Steel Plant Design: Deflector plate and coarse powder separator at the air inlet separate large sintering dust particles (>50μm), preventing filter bag wear and extending service life.
- Filtration and Dust Capture: Dust-laden flue gas passes through specialized filter bags (PPS/PTFE coated material, resistant to 180℃, acid, alkali, and condensation) achieving gas-dust separation.
- Dust Retention: Dust is retained on the outer surface of filter bags through sieving, collision and adsorption, forming a uniform "initial dust layer" that improves filtration accuracy.
- Clean Flue Gas Discharge: Clean gas passes through filter bag fibers, gathers in clean gas chamber, and is discharged through induced draft fan and chimney (emission concentration ≤5mg/m³).
- Key Sintering Machine Features: External filtration type (dust on outside) suitable for high-concentration dust, with widened filter bag spacing to prevent sintering dust bridging and clogging.
