This equipment is designed for constructing concrete water-retaining strips and small-end curbs in municipal roads and expressways. Also known as asphalt sand forming machine, water barrier forming machine, or curb stone slip forming machine.

The machine consists of diesel engine, reducer, screw rod, hopper, mold, steering mechanism, and four-wheel height adjustment system.

A spiral blade installed in front of the forming mold rotates continuously to push cement or asphalt concrete into the mold cavity. When the material fills the mold space, the reaction force against the spiral blade drives the machine forward. As the machine moves, the extruded curbstone or water-stop separates from the rear of the mold and remains on the working surface.
