Principle

Compressible gas (with an air pressure of 0.2 - 0.7 MPa) is filled into the sealed air spring. The compressibility of the gas is utilized to achieve the function of the spring. The air bag uses the height regulating valve to control the internal air pressure of the bag, thereby enabling the stiffness of the air spring to be adjustable. When the load acting on the spring increases, the air pressure rises, and the stiffness of the spring increases; conversely, when the load decreases, the air pressure inside the spring drops, and the stiffness decreases.

Main Role

• Shock and noise reduction: The air bag can effectively absorb vibration from the road or outside, reduce the impact on the body or equipment, while reducing noise and improving ride comfort.
• Improve vehicle stability: By adjusting the air pressure, the stiffness and height of the vehicle suspension can be changed to enhance the stability of the vehicle in cornering, braking or load situations.
• Adapt to load changes: The air envelope automatically adjusts the height and stiffness according to the load, ensuring that the vehicle remains in optimal operating condition. This feature is especially important for vehicles such as heavy trucks or buses.
• Extended service life: Through shock absorption and vibration control, air packs can reduce fatigue wear on other parts of the vehicle or equipment, thereby extending the overall service life.
• Environmental performance: Compared to conventional steel springs, air-cushioned airpacks offer higher performance while weighing less, helping to reduce fuel consumption and emissions.
